My sewing journey continues as I worked on a linen skirt to add to my summer wardrobe. Resurrecting my drafting skills, with the drafting of this yoked skirt. As this is a summer skirt, I wanted a lightweight fabric and settled on a latte-colored linen fabric from my stash. As linen can be transparent, decided to line this skirt. The lining is a cream colored polyester cotton of a medium weight.

The lining is attached at the waist. A seven inch zipper was added to the center back seam. A hook and eye is hidden at the top of the zipper closure. Top stitching completes the finishing touches.
