After working on the three Aloha Print dresses, I had left over material in the yellow/brown fern print. Going through my stash, I found gold and brown solid pieces. I used the aloha print for the backing and for several 4 inch strips. The gold and brown squares are 7 inches. Rows were constructed using alterante color solid squares separated by the sashing. The blanket was sewn together in the envelope style and then topped stitched. Tufts knots were used at the corenr of each square. The end result measured 41 x 43 inches. This quilt is a gift for a little girl. Hope she will enjoy it.
