Celery Crunch–Scarf #4

Scarf 4 modified moss stitch scarf       Scarf #4 is called Celery Crunch.  This one was made w/ a modified moss stitch.  You can see the pattern on at my ravelry account.  redbam1646@ravelry.com.  It is about 5 inches wide and 70 inches long.  I used 100% Peruvian Wool and a #10 (US) needle.  It took me about a week working after dinner till bedtime to complete.  Here are two close up pictures.  This one is of the rib side.  You can see how the single crochet edging evened out the outer neck edge.      Now, for the flip side.    This side you can really see the purl stitches.  This pattern was an easy one to work with.  Happy knitting!

I love the look of this scarf – What kind of stitch would you do to get the same sort of look with crochet?

    Hi Morgan,

This one was a knit. I think the stitch is called a Rice stitch. It is a two-row pattern. 1st row consists of purl 1, knit 1, till end of row.
2nd row consists of knit the entire row.
Continue pattern till you get the desired length. Bind off. Weave in tails.
